Since 1998, Mr Teo has worked as a consultant plastic surgeon at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, where he carries out a wide range of plastic surgery operations and teaches many future plastic surgeons. Mr Teo is highly specialised in microsurgery and reconstruction of the upper and lower extremities.

In his consultation of the public health system and his private practice, Mr Teo treats patients that have been referred to him from all over the United Kingdom and all over the world. Mr Teo has performed complex microsurgical reconstructions for more than 20 years. He has received and continues to receive invitations as a teaching member to attend numerous international meetings and teach other surgeons through lectures and live surgical demonstrations.

He is one of the few supermicrosurgeons able to practice microsurgical anastomosis in extremely small vessels that is required for venular lymphatic bypass. Mr Teo is a member of a select group of plastic surgeons who teaches at the International Master of Reconstructive Microsurgery in Paris and Barcelona. He is the author of several chapters and publications in journals and books specialized in plastic surgery.
